Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) in Chicago, IL is seeking a Ramp Agent to support on-time flight operations through safe, efficient ground handling. You will guide aircraft, load/unload baggage, operate belt loaders and tugs, and maintain security and safety practices in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, strong teamwork, and compliance with airline and airport procedures.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by law.
Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.

Responsibilities

Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
Transport, load/unload, sort and transfer baggage, cargo, and mail safely.
Operate heavy equipment (belt loaders, tugs, deicers) and move luggage/cargo as required.
Complete paperwork and data entry into the company system.
