Job summary

Golden Entertainment LLC in Las Vegas is seeking an AV Telecommunications Technician to support, install, maintain, and troubleshoot the company’s audiovisual systems across the property. You will collaborate with IT and external providers to ensure high standards of functionality and serviceability, including cable management and system integrity.

The role requires hands-on installation and preventive maintenance of AV equipment, with a focus on reliability and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in AV installation, maintenance, or technical support.
• Experience with Crestron, Soundweb, BrightSign, and television distribution systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of modern television standards, audio systems, and their integration with video equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex AV issues and use appropriate technical tools.
• Proven ability to organize equipment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the initiative to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Must obtain and maintain all required work cards as mandated by the department.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Verify right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and perform preventive maintenance on all AV equipment (70-volt music/paging systems, TVs, distribution systems, projectors).
• Maintain accurate inventory of AV-related equipment and supplies.
• Provide status reports and performance feedback on AV systems to management.
• Respond to Help Desk tickets and service requests related to AV; provide user support and basic training.
• Conduct daily property walkthroughs to inspect AV system functionality and readiness.
• Troubleshoot and respond to AV service calls in FOH and BOH areas.
• Perform infrastructure installations with professional cable management and layout.
