Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an on-site AV Support Technician to partner with customers and teams to deliver world-class service at client sites across Minnesota. You will handle setup/breakdown of conference spaces, perform preventative maintenance, and provide field service for AV/networked devices, while adhering to safety standards and contributing to training and documentation.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication with employees, customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video and control systems.
• Must have Valid Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record meeting AVI-SPL driving standard.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet customer event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maintain customer spaces.
• Provide timely and quality field service support of networked devices.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner.
• Adhere to local safety standards for all site duties.
• Provide job site documentation and end-user training as needed.
• Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
