Job summary

CTI in Houston, TX is seeking a Live Event Sales Consultant who builds relationships with potential leads, negotiates and closes AV/live event opportunities, and delivers creative A/V production solutions. You will manage client data in Dynamics 365 CRM and collaborate with the operations team to ensure successful events.

The role requires 1+ year of sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to network effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience, including sourcing new business with existing relationships.
• Strong communication and networking skills to build relationships and close deals.
• Experience with AV design, layout, and communicating designs to clients.
• Customer-focused mindset with a service-first approach.
• Eagerness to learn and tackle varied situations.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales from leads and network with new customers.
• Negotiate and close AV/live event opportunities.
• Manage customer data using event software and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Attend customer meetings as required.
• Prepare quotes, labor estimates, and coordinating diagrams with the team.
• Provide creative A/V production solutions through consultative selling.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure successful events.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and customers.
• Use RFP responses to meet customer needs.
• Attend local association events to network and generate opportunities.
