Job summary

SYNC Residential is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for our CityCentre community in Houston, TX. You will assist the Property Manager with daily operations, leasing, and resident relations, including handling move-ins/outs, rent collection, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of multi-family APM experience at a mid-rise Class A property, solid customer service skills, and proficiency with property management software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of multi-family Assistant Property Manager experience at a mid-rise community.
• P&L responsibility and budgetary experience.
• Proficiency with property management software (ResMan, Yardi, Onesite, etc.).
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel.
• Must work one Saturday per month 10am-5pm and rotating 10am-7pm shift Tue/Thu.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily property operations, including full operational responsibility in the absence of the Property Manager.
• Lease and apply paperwork processing, move-ins/outs, and renewals.
• Manage rent collection and delinquency communications.
• Prepare monthly close-out and financial reports; handle banking and deposits.
• Inspect apartments at move-out, document damages, and finalize charges.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and site visits.
• Support leasing efforts to maximize occupancy and revenue.
