Job summary

SYNC Residential is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager in Houston, TX. The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations, leasing, and financial reporting for a Class A mid-rise community.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of multi-family AM experience, strong customer service, and proficiency with ResMan/Yardi/Onesite. A valid driver's license is required, with weekend hours and rotating shifts as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of multi-family Assistant Property Manager experience at a mid-rise community is required.
• P&L responsibility and budgetary experience.
• Proficiency with property management software (i.e. ResMan, Yardi, Onesite, etc.).
• Strong initiative and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel.
• Must work one Saturday per month 10am-5pm and rotating 10am-7pm shift Tue/Thu.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in all daily property operations and leasing tasks.
• Manage rent collections, delinquency reports, and financial recordkeeping.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs, inspections, and lease paperwork.
• Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and vendor communications.
• Support events, renewals, and occupancy goals.
• Oversee evictions and compliance with state laws and company policies.
