Job summary

Tennessee Board of Regents invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor – Administrative Professional Technology (Pool) to deliver quality instruction in Administrative Professional Technology. The position supports on-ground, online, and hybrid delivery and requires collaboration with course leads for consistent student experiences.

Master’s Degree in Business Education is required, with three years of related industry experience and college teaching and Microsoft Office certifications

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required in Business Education.
  • Three years’ related industry experience preferred.
  • College level teaching experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes.
  • Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
  • Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students.
  • Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.
  • Regularly check College email account and department mailbox.
  • Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.
  • Complete all required reports (attendance, alerts, progress reports, grade submissions) by deadlines.
  • Submit final grades for each semester by the Registrar’s deadlines.
  • Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
