Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering is seeking a Dye Operator to safely process additive manufacturing parts through the dyeing operation. You will work in a two-person production team, cross-trained across preparation, dyeing, rinsing, drying, inspection, documentation, and packaging, following Standard Work and SOPs.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year or related experience preferred.
• Solid technical attributes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Beginning Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to accomplish tasks without constant supervision.
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to follow work instructions

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Technicians, Machine Technicians, and Lead Project Technician.
• Process production work orders using FIFO.
• Load, wash, prepare, dye, rinse, dry, inspect, and package parts according to Standard Work.
• Verify dye bath parameters before processing and perform bath refreshes as required.
• Operate automatic washers, dye tanks, rinse stations, drying equipment, and related equipment safely.
• Maintain batch documentation and traceability throughout the process.
• Inspect parts for color consistency and surface quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report quality, equipment, and safety concerns promptly.
• Work effectively with other operators to meet production goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Promote a positive work environment.
• Assist in various stages of production as needed.
