Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering is seeking a Dye Operator to safely run the dyeing process for additive manufacturing parts. You will prepare, dye, rinse, dry, inspect, document, and package parts as part of a two-person team, following Standard Work and procedures to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

You’ll collaborate with technicians, monitor dye bath parameters, ensure traceability, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and help with other production steps as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year or related experience preferred.
• Solid technical attributes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Beginning Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to accomplish tasks without constant supervision.
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to follow work instructions

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Technicians, Machine Technicians, and Lead Project Technician.
• Process production work orders using FIFO.
• Load, wash, prepare, dye, rinse, dry, inspect, and package parts according to Standard Work.
• Verify dye bath parameters before processing and perform bath refreshes as required.
• Operate automatic washers, dye tanks, rinse stations, drying equipment, and related equipment safely.
• Maintain batch documentation and traceability throughout the process.
• Inspect parts for color consistency and surface quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report quality, equipment, and safety concerns promptly.
• Work effectively with other operators to meet production goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Promote a positive work environment.
• Assist in various stages of production as needed.
• Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time.
