Job summary

The Florida Department of Commerce in Key West seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to serve as a Consolidated Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) Specialist and Local Veterans' Employment Representative (LVER).

This role develops service delivery strategies, provides outreach and job placement assistance, and delivers intensive case management to eligible veterans and spouses in compliance with JVSG regulations and Title 38 U.S.C.

Qualifications

• Expertise in DVOP/LVER programs and Title 38 U.S.C. regulations.
• Experience with employer advocacy and job placement for veterans with employment barriers.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individual employment plans.
• Knowledge of federal contractor compliance and JVSG program requirements.
• Strong case management and counseling skills for veterans and eligible spouses.
