Job summary

FloridaCommerce is seeking a DVOP/LVER Government Operations Consultant II in Key West, FL to support veterans’ employment through direct services and employer outreach. The role balances case management with advocacy to help veterans and their spouses obtain sustainable employment under JVSG.

The incumbent develops service delivery strategies, trains staff on JVSG regulations, and collaborates with federal and state partners to maximize opportunities for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Level 2 security background screening required.
• Strong knowledge of veterans’ programs and JVSG guidance.
• Ability to train staff and coordinate across agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement JVSG service delivery strategies.
• Provide outreach and placement assistance to veterans and spouses.
• Conduct job search workshops and coordinate with employers.
• Perform case management and counseling to improve employment outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and program guidelines.
