Job summary

YWCA Northeast Kansas is seeking a Public Education Manager to lead community education and awareness around domestic and dating violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. The role develops trainings, manages partnerships, and mentors staff.

Reporting to the CSE Program Director, you will coordinate outreach, deliver presentations to schools and community groups, and help plan events. This exempt, full-time position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in public speaking.
• Knowledge of local resources and support services.
• Ability to travel within service areas.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements educational presentations throughout the community.
• Delivers presentations and trainings to schools and community groups.
• Coordinates speaking engagements and outreach with community partners.
• Represents the organization at events, panels, and meetings.
• Maintains records of outreach activities and reporting.
