Job summary

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking an experienced education and advocacy professional to lead domestic violence and sexual assault trainings and coordinate volunteer programs within the Violence Intervention & Prevention Department.

You will deliver presentations to schools and community groups, train new staff and volunteers, build community partnerships, track program data, and maintain curricula and resources while aligning with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standardized domestic violence and sexual assault advocate training and shadowing programs in accordance with program requirements.
• Provide new employee training and ongoing training as needed.
• Coordinate the volunteer program, including onboarding, training, compliance, and continuing education.
• Deliver educational presentations to schools, community organizations, and other community groups as assigned.
• Conduct community outreach to increase awareness of YWCA services and resources including tabling events.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Track and report training, education, and volunteer program data.
• Maintain approved training curricula, educational materials, and resource library.
• Work with leadership and department heads to identify and coordinate employee training needs.
