YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking an experienced professional to lead education and advocacy efforts, delivering domestic violence and sexual assault trainings while coordinating the volunteer program and continuing education.

The role emphasizes engaging presentation, strong organization, and relationship-building with employees, volunteers, and community partners, with some evening/weekend programming required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Communications, Human Services, Education, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing education and/or training programs.
• Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma, and victim safety; trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver standardized domestic violence and sexual assault advocate training and shadowing programs.
• Provide new employee training and ongoing training as needed.
• Coordinate the volunteer program, including onboarding, training, compliance, and continuing education.
• Deliver educational presentations to schools, organizations, and community groups.
• Conduct community outreach to raise awareness of YWCA services and resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Track and report training, education, and volunteer data.
• Maintain training curricula and materials.
• Identify training needs with leadership and department heads.
