Job summary

YWCA Northeast Kansas is seeking a Director for the Center for Safety and Empowerment (CSE). The role provides leadership for DV, SV, HT, and stalking services, ensuring trauma-informed and survivor-centered delivery across county service locations.

The Director will supervise managers, coordinate crisis response, shelter operations, advocacy, and survivor services, and align programs with funder requirements and agency standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in DV/SV/HT/ST or human services programming.
• Experience with trauma-informed and survivor-centered service models.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of all CSE services.
• Ensures trauma-informed, survivor-centered and culturally responsive practices.
• Implements program policies, procedures and service standards.
• Supervises program managers and provides coaching to leadership staff.
• Represents and advances CSE within coordinated community response efforts.
