Job summary

Metropolitan Family Services in Chicago is seeking a full-time DV Program Supervisor for the Gender Based Violence Rapid Rehousing Program at our Calumet office. The role leads a domestic violence advocacy program, supervises staff, and partners with the Program Director to drive service delivery.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in DV survivor services, and CDVP certification by year one; a Master’s degree is preferred for court programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ DV survivor services experience.
  • Illinois CDVP certification required by end of first year.
  • Master’s degree preferred for court programs.
  • 40-hour Domestic Violence training required before contact with clients.
  • Demonstrated supervisory responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee DV advocacy program area and supervise staff.
  • Plan and implement client-centered interventions.
  • Monitor grants, reporting, and budgets for the program.
  • Provide supervision and coaching in crisis management and conflict resolution.
  • Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Schedule and coordinate on-call coverage.
  • Conduct staff training and assess survivor needs.
  • Represent the program in the community and maintain ethics.
