Din Tai Fung North America is seeking a Dumpling Prep / Trainee in Irvine, CA. You will prepare, assemble, fold, and steam dumplings in our show kitchen, supporting the kitchen team and guest experience.

The program starts as a trainee with a path to Dumpling Prep; training is hands-on and conducted during interview process. Pay is $21.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Dumpling experience is not required.
• Experience in prep, specifically with dough (pastry, pizza, etc.) is a plus.
• Open Availability.
• Eager to learn, enjoys to be challenged.

Responsibilities

• Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including SOPs
