Job summary

Peak Utility Services Group in Massachusetts is hiring a Driver I to support construction, reconstruction and maintenance of utility infrastructure. You'll assist crew leaders, operate with equipment operators, and help with site preparation and safety.

Requirements include 1+ year construction experience, valid State Driver’s License, CDL Class A or B, MVR check, and pre-employment drug screen. This non-exempt role offers pay of $27–$32 per hour, with opportunities for additional skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in construction.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Pass MVR check and pre-employment drug screen.
• DOT physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists crew leader in construction, reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assists equipment operators by swamping, hand digging and locating underground obstructions.
• Works with equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other tools.
• Signals operators to align and move machinery and materials.
• Maintains clean and safe work sites and documents DVIR and driver’s log.
