Job summary

First American Mortgage Solutions is seeking a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser to perform independent valuations for residential properties within the Duluth, MN area, aligned with USPAP and client guidelines.

You will inspect properties, analyze market data, and prepare objective reports while coordinating with Senior Appraisers to ensure quality and timely turnarounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Active Appraiser Certification and be licensed in the relevant state.
• Proficient with USPAP guidelines and appraisal forms.
• Strong data analysis and narrative writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unbiased residential property valuations using market and property data.
• Inspect properties and document data with notes, photos, and diagrams.
• Utilize sales comparison, cost, and income approaches to value.
• Maintain proficiency with MLS and local data sources and appraisal forms.
• Collaborate with Senior Appraisers and Appraisal Helpdesk to ensure quality and improvements.
