Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager in the UAE to sign up and onboard the city’s best restaurants and chains. You’ll report to the Team Lead of your city.

Your day-to-day includes restaurant acquisition, pipeline management, and supporting onboarding, with KPIs focused on partner signings and performance. You’ll join a dynamic, growth-oriented team shaping a three-sided marketplace.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in business or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of the restaurant landscape in the UAE.
• Demonstrable sales track record with experience in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
• Experienced negotiator and able to structure win-win deals for partners and for Deliveroo.
• Commercially knowledgeable person who understands the economics of delivery for restaurant partners and Deliveroo.
• Be able to maturely demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Take ownership and work towards demanding targets.
• A fantastic communicator with a “get it done” mindset, well organized and efficient.
• Fluency in English; Hindi or Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Restaurant acquisition: prospecting, pitching, and closing new restaurants in your territory (mostly inside sales).
• Oversee your pipeline and manage your portfolio of leads to ensure strong conversion rates.
• Oversee the partner onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient, and seamless.
• Ensure partner success within the first weeks from signing.
• Commercial Projects: support the wider team with ad-hoc projects like field pitch days and cross-functional initiatives.
