Job summary

GLR Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two Northeast Ohio apartment communities, totaling 76 units. You will split time between sites, handling work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and general repairs to keep residents safe and units ready for inspections.

You will manage a range of trades from plumbing to HVAC, with on-call rotation and mileage between sites reimbursed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience; multifamily/apartment preferred.
• Comfortable managing two locations and schedules.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly and document work performed.
• Perform make-ready unit turns and repairs to meet standards.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance across two communities.
• Support property upkeep and respond to day-to-day needs.
• Assist with inspections and correct deficiencies as assigned.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance.
• Keep shop organized and follow safety standards.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, carpentry, flooring.
