Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) / Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to support the patient care team. The role includes basic patient care, unit coordination, clerical duties, and collaboration with RNs. Candidates must hold an active CNA and BLS, with timely CNA training completion.

On-site position in Logan, Utah with 36 hours weekly. The hospital emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a comprehensive benefits package, and requires successful completion

Competenze

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice (Utah preferred per hire criteria).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy and strong written/verbal communication.
• CNA certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Recent CNA training completion verification required (within past year).
• Fundamentals of Nursing Course with passing grade within past two years; transcript required.

Mansioni

• Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care (toileting, bathing, mobility, comfort).
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
• Provides excellent customer service when responding to patient and family requests.
• Reports and records patient care findings in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with RN and interdisciplinary team for best patient care.
• Performs non-nursing duties as delegated (clerical, stocking, answering phones).
