Job summary

Elderwood at Burlington is seeking a Maintenance Assistant/Transport Driver to support building operations and safely move residents. This dual role combines hands-on maintenance with transporting residents for admissions, medical appointments, and facility transfers.

The candidate should have a valid driver's license and at least 1 year of related experience; HS diploma preferred. Full-time/Part-time options, gas allowance, tuition assistance, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance-related experience.
• Valid driver's license and on-call availability.
• Experience with basic maintenance tools and safety practices.
• Patient, dependable and compassionate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry and related systems.
• Maintain grounds, driveways and parking areas, including snow/ice removal.
• Transport residents using company vehicles for appointments and transfers.
• Uphold resident rights, safety, privacy, and HIPAA policies.
