Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Transportation/Maintenance Assistant to provide safe and courteous transport for residents to activities, events, and appointments. You will also assist with general building upkeep across the community to ensure a clean, functional environment.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to work varied hours while maintaining a professional demeanor with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and common tools.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Motor coordination and depth perception for driving and using tools.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to activities, functions, and medical appointments.
• Assist the Property Maintenance Technician with general building maintenance throughout the community.
