Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is hiring a part-time Maintenance/Transport aide to support Life Safety Code compliance and upkeep of the facility. The role includes transporting residents to appointments and events, and assisting in maintaining the health and safety standards of the community.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must possess a valid driver license in good standing.
• Must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring Life Safety Code compliance, the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order.
• Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, and emergency transport as directed.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintenance procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures. You will also transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activity functions, and in emergency transport situations as directed. Follows all regulatory and safety policies.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.

• Must possess a valid driver license, in good standing as determined by the Community, and must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.

• Must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete required documentation.

• Must meet Community driver approval process and have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
