Job summary

Highlands College at Montana Tech seeks a Dual Enrollment/Public Education Coordinator to support dual enrollment programs at high school campuses. You will work with students, parents, faculty and community partners to expand access to college courses and create pathways for student success.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, excellent customer service, the ability to travel, and the capacity to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Possess an associate degree (AS or AAS) or Higher (BS, BA, MS, MA etc.)
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills including writing, verbal, and analytical skills and public speaking.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to travel and represent Montana Tech in a professional setting
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules (occasionally) such as evening information sessions or career fairs etc.

Responsibilities

• The dual enrollment coordinator assists with administrative functions and activities related to the dual enrollment programs at high school campuses.
• Interacts with school administrators, personnel from multiple school districts, and industry partners; makes regular site visits to partner schools.
• Builds relationships with new schools and business partners.
• Reports to the Director of Dual Enrollment.
