Job summary

The Fortune Society in Bronx, NY seeks a Dual Clinic Social Worker for the Behavioral Health Services Unit. The role provides therapy to clients with histories of criminal justice involvement and a mixed caseload of substance use and mental health diagnoses. On-site with occasional telehealth from our satellite office.

Applicants should have LMSW/LCSW/MHC-LP/LMHC credentials, strong engagement and documentation skills, and comfort with EHRs. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP, or LMHC required.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience required.
• Experience with mental health, SUD, or incarceration is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client assessment and psychosocial interviews.
• Develop a therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Provide ongoing individual and group counseling sessions.
• Write and update treatment plans following state and agency guidelines.
• Maintain proper case records and timely documentation.
• Participate in case conferences and clinical supervision.
