Job summary

The Bond Health Behavioral Health Department is seeking a Bilingual Therapist (LCSW) to deliver individual, group, and family therapy within a telemedicine-enabled program in New York. You will perform psychosocial evaluations, clinical assessments, and treatment planning while coordinating referrals as needed.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with a 7-hour day. Requires NYS licensure, bilingual English/Spanish, strong writing and administrative skills, and ability to

Qualifications

• LCSW licensure with at least 2 years of clinical mental health experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong clinical background providing individual and group therapy.
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, substance use, and harm reduction.
• Sensitive to ethnic, cultural, and sexual minorities; non-judgemental.
• Excellent clinical judgement, high responsiveness to emails/texts.
• Able to conduct all services via telemedicine.
• Excellent writing and administrative skills; able to learn quickly and work autonomously.
• Microsoft Office skills; basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws relating to mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments, mental status, and mental health evaluations.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency assessments as needed.
• Provide care management services as needed.
• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct outreach and re-engagement services for follow-up care.
• Participate in quality management activities and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA, and security regulations.
• Liaise with community agencies and referral sources; foster professional linkages.
• Design and facilitate specialized therapeutic groups based on client needs.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training; fulfill mandated reporter duties.
