Lifetouch’s JCPenney Portraits team in Toledo, OH is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Studio Manager for dual locations. You will help run the portrait studio and deliver memorable experiences to customers.

We offer paid training in photography and sales, a starting hourly rate of $17.00, monthly bonus potential, store discounts, and benefits including medical, dental and life insurance plus participation in our employee stock ownership plan for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail, photography, or service industry preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Intermediate computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Studio Manager with the operation and management of a portrait studio.
• Capture images that are fun, spontaneous, and creative to exceed customer expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
• Provide delightful customer experiences.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to safety procedures.

What You’ll Do Here

• Assist the Studio Manager with the operation and management of a portrait studio
• Capture images that are fun, spontaneous, and creative to exceed the customers’ expectations
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions
• Provide delightful customer experience
• Demonstrate professionalism and show concern for the safety of customers by following established safety procedures

The Skills You’ll Bring

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 – 2 years of experience working in retail, photography, or service industry strongly preferred

• Intermediate computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry, Outlook, Excel)
