Job summary

Lifetouch is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Studio Manager for dual locations in the JCPenney Portraits network. You will assist the Studio Manager, help run a portrait studio, and ensure a memorable customer experience. Competitive pay, training, and benefits are included.

You will schedule sessions, engage with customers, and help maintain a safe, professional studio environment while supporting a diverse team. This role requires flexibility and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail, photography, or service industry preferred.
• Ability to work varied schedule including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Studio Manager with operations and management of a portrait studio.
• Capture images that are fun, spontaneous, and creative to exceed customers' expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
• Provide delightful customer experience and ensure safety procedures are followed.

What You’ll Do Here

• Assist the Studio Manager with the operation and management of a portrait studio
• Capture images that are fun, spontaneous, and creative to exceed the customers’ expectations
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions
• Provide delightful customer experience
• Demonstrate professionalism and show concern for the safety of customers by following established safety procedures

The Skills You’ll Bring

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 – 2 years of experience working in retail, photography, or service industry strongly preferred
• Ability to work a varied schedule including holidays and weekends, as needed
• Intermediate computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry, Outlook, Excel)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Hourly Payrate: $18.50
