White Lodging in Denver seeks an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to lead the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, uphold cleanliness standards, and partner with Front Office for guest satisfaction.

You will manage scheduling, payroll, and financials, drive training, and mentor future housekeeping leaders in a fast-paced upscale hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a housekeeping department.
• Proven ability to train and develop future leaders.
• Extensive knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures.
• Strong problem solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with Front Office and other departments.
• Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments and supervise managers and supervisors.
• Maintain strong collaboration with Front Office for operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety and guest-satisfaction standards.
• Ensure guestrooms, public spaces and employee areas are clean and well maintained.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• The Assistant Director of Housekeeping assists in overseeing the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments, including Housekeeping Managers and Supervisors
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the Front Office to ensure effective communication for operational issues
• Ensure compliance with processes and procedures for cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction
• Ensures property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained
• Execute leadership tasks such as financials, payroll, scheduling, etc.
