Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an assembly technician in Byesville, OH to build DT12 transmissions per established remanufacturing processes. You will assemble components, follow procedures, and ensure a complete build ready for dyno.

The role offers a starting pay of $23.00/hr with top pay $32.46/hr, plus quarterly gainsharing. Onsite work with benefits and potential shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift
• Repetitive hand manipulation and use of power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance or hoist
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Assemble transmission components following work instructions and OE specifications
• Operate torque wrenches, air tools, presses and hardware
• Identify parts and inspect for quality; diagnose build issues
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to rotation plan
• Collaborate with team to improve safety, attendance and productivity
