Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking to fill an on-site transmission assembly role in Kentucky. The associate will assemble DT12 transmissions using established procedures and tools, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading and following work instructions, operating torque wrenches and power tools, and continuously improving the work area. Relocation is not covered; candidates must meet site requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Repetitive hand manipulation and standing for shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with/without assistance.
• Follow standardized work procedures and read Work Station Instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the transmission per operator instructions and OE specs.
• Operate tools and machinery safely to build DT12 transmissions.
• Diagnose issues and correct build errors as they arise.
