Job summary

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) is seeking an assembly technician to build DT12 transmissions per established remanufacturing processes. You will assemble components, use torque wrenches and power tools, and ensure a high-quality build ready for dyno testing.

Role requires standing on concrete, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following detailed work instructions. OT may be required; comprehensive benefits and paid time off accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must read and understand Work Station Instructions and follow safety/quality standards.
• Cross train on other jobs as required and collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the transmission using work instructions and OE specs.
• Diagnose and correct issues as they arise during build.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to rotation plan and complete training matrices.
