Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) is seeking personnel for onsite assembly in Byesville, OH. You will assemble small components, operate hoists and gauges, and follow standard work. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a large manufacturing network.

Starting at a mid-range hourly pay with gainsharing and a comprehensive benefits package, this position offers vacation, holidays, and family-friendly leave. Relocation is not offered for this opening.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power & hand tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for an entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
• Cross training on other jobs as required

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes and lifting.
• Inspect small components and assemble heavy-duty truck parts.
• Operate hoist, gauges and air tools following standard work procedures.
• Read and understand Work Station Instructions and BOMs.
• Adhere to rotation plan and participate in safety and quality improvements.
• Use computer systems to access data, drawings, and specification sheets.
