Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking assemblers for the DT12 transmission, performing assembly per established procedures and quality standards. The role requires standing for long periods, use of power tools, and adherence to safety and process instructions.

Offering starting pay of $23/hr to $32.46/hr with overtime differentials, quarterly gainsharing, and a broad benefits package including 401(k) matching, vacation, holidays, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation.
• Stand on concrete for entire shift; bending, stooping, twisting, reaching; lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance).
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards; implement continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the transmission per work instructions and OE specs.
• Operate tooling and read drawings/BOMs as part of the build.
• Diagnose and address build issues; use company data and station instructions.
