Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is seeking an Assembly Technician to complete DT12 transmission builds according to established process and specifications. You will operate torque wrenches, air tools, gauges, and hoists, following work instructions, and maintaining quality and safety throughout the shift.

A keen eye for detail and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role. The position offers starting pay of $23.00/hr up to top pay of $32.46/hr, with quarterly gainsharing,

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must read and understand Work Station Instructions and follow procedures
• Experience with inline quality checks and problem solving in a production environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble the transmission using work instructions and OE specs
• Operate hand and power tools and machines as required
• Identify and diagnose build issues and take corrective action
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and quality standards
