Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced professional to design, deploy and sustain an Operational Technology network for manufacturing, focusing on PLCs, HMIs, and databases to ensure reliable communication and control.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes, cybersecurity collaboration, and project management to deliver on time and within budget in an onsite US-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Expertise with Cisco networking systems, Ignition, Logix5000 and relational/object storage.
• Experience provisioning, deploying and sustaining Cisco network in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, validate and optimize OT network software for manufacturing processes.
• Hardware identification and configuration in OT network systems with PLCs, HMIs, databases.
• Configure network to meet procedural and standard best practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers for design, documentation and hardware configuration.
• Engage with Digital Technologies for cybersecurity firewall compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex OT network system issues in manufacturing.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through cross-team collaboration.
• Manage project timelines and ensure delivery within budget.
