Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver to provide direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role focuses on enabling independence, dignity, and personal growth through hands-on support.

The position emphasizes weekend shifts with a wage of $15.75 per hour. Training is paid, with comprehensive benefits including PTO, insurance options, and wellness programs to support employees

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required and comfortable driving to transport individuals.
• Some positions may require your own vehicle and auto liability insurance.
• Possess computer skills for documentation.
• Background clearance required during onboarding.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

Qualifications
