The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and maintain dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable driving to transport persons served.
• Own vehicle and auto liability insurance may be required.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind.
• Reliable, adaptable, and team oriented.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills for documentation.
• Background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served)
• Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required
  • Some positions/locations may require your own personal vehicle and auto liability insurance based on the role
