Job summary

The Arc of Washington County in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Vocational/FAVC for a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. shift.

This full-time, non-exempt position pays $19.25 per hour and provides opportunities to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain confidence, learn new skills, and thrive in their communities. You will support independence, provide encouragement, document outcomes, and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with physical support when needed.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and genuine care for others.
• Experience helping people with disabilities is a plus — but training will be provided.
