Qualifications

About The Role

In this position, you will provide short, focused support sessions that help individuals gain confidence and independence in everyday life.

You are not just assisting, but you are coaching, encouraging, and celebrating progress as clients work toward their personal goals.

DSP Providing Direct Care and working alongside other Support Staff in the home for clients with disabilities (intellectual or behavioral) This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, encouraging independence, and supporting individuals as they grow in life skills and personal goals without the demands of long shifts.

Duties include, but tailored to the persons service plan:

• Support individuals in developing daily living and independent life skills
• Assist with community activities, errands, and social engagement
• Provide guidance on routines such as budgeting, cooking, hygiene, and time management
• Encourage goal progress based on each client’s individualized plan
• Promote confidence, independence, and decision-making skills
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients
• Document services provided during each shift

Requirements

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
