Golden Heart Senior Care Des Moines (IA) is seeking an experienced Program Supervisor to provide direct care and oversee daily operations in a home-like setting. This role blends hands-on caregiving with staff leadership and administrative responsibilities. If you have your Med Manager, CMA, or CNA please let us know in the interview.

We offer training to support growth and stability as you learn your new role, with a 40-hour work week and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years DSP experience + 3–5 years administrative/leadership experience
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a group home setting
• Physically able to assist with client care tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and medication support
• Supervise, train, and support DSP staff
• Coordinate schedules and ensure proper staffing coverage
• Maintain accurate client and staff documentation
• Address client/staff concerns and ensure a safe environment
• Participate in care planning (ISP reviews) and team meetings

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
