Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting. You will perform personal care tasks, assist with daily living activities, and support clients to increase independence.

Responsibilities include documentation, health monitoring, meal planning, and transportation to activities. Must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license (in most cases).
• Ability to work in a home-like setting.
• Must meet state requirements for Private Home Care regulations or Personal Care Aide requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and health-related monitoring.
• Foster positive relationships with individuals served and their support circle.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment.
• Document services provided and maintain accurate records.
• Plan meals, shop for groceries, and prepare meals.
• Transport clients to activities and appointments.

Education
