Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an ASIC Engineer to define, model, design (digital/analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement and document IP for high performance, low power products.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to determine execution paths and contribute to architecture choices. The role requires a clear understanding of ASIC development life cycle, collaboration across teams, and the ability to document processes and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required.
• 6+ months with architecture and design tools.
• 6+ months with scripting languages and design verification methods.

Responsibilities

• Defines, models, designs, optimizes, verifies, validates, implements, and documents IP for high performance, low power products.
• Assists in architectures, circuit specs, logic designs, and system simulations based on requirements.
• Collaborates to develop implementation strategies meeting system and customer needs.
• Supports design flow evaluation from high-level design to synthesis and timing/power verification.
• Utilizes RTL to GDS Flow and Virtuoso to enable architecture and design of IP/blocks.
• Writes technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
