Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability in Southampton, NJ is hiring Direct Support Professionals with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification support. You will assist individuals with daily activities, implement behavior plans, monitor safety, and maintain detailed documentation.

Training and supervision are provided as needed. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care, teamwork, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and work with a team.
• CPR/First Aid, CPI or related certifications may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and protect individuals at all times and enforce house rules.
• Support learning and safety in accordance with individualized service and behavior plans.
• Monitor health, wellness, safety, and crisis situations; document incidents as required.
• Implement behavioral support plans and collect data for IPS/IPPs.
• Assist with ADLs, meals, transportation, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment and use protective handling procedures.
