Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or educational equivalent
• Valid Driver's License may be required depending on position/location
• Must hold or obtain RBT certification within one year of appointment or equivalent California credentials
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living
• Ensure medication is administered as prescribed and according to guidelines
• Teach and develop skills; support person-centered advocacy
• Assist in communication, self-expression and resolving disputes
• Facilitate ethical decision making and trauma-informed approaches
• Prepare balanced meals and snacks according to dietary needs
• Transport and escort individuals to activities and appointments
• Assist with purchases and safeguarding personal funds
