Job summary

Hopetree Family Services seeks a Staff Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) within our DDM programs, including group homes, day services, and community engagement. The role emphasizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach with coaching and mentoring for staff.

The candidate will supervise day-to-day operations, scheduling, and training, ensuring safety, compliance, and collaborative support with families and community partners.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with I/DD.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a Human Services or related field.
• Must have acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Coordinate services and supports for individuals in DDM programs.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity and opportunities for growth; coach, teach and mentor DSPs.
• Manage on-site operations, scheduling, and training; support after-hours on-call responsibilities.
• Promote rights, regulatory compliance and ethical care; maintain required documentation.
