IF! Inc in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with daily living activities, and monitor health under nurse supervision.

You will maintain a respectful, patient-centered approach and promote residents’ rights through compassionate care. The role is part-time, in-person in Spring Lake Park, with a biweekly pay cycle.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication and monitor vital signs under supervision of a nurse.
• Implement individualized care plans and ensure resident rights are respected.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide companionship and engage individuals in recreational activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Compassion and a desire to help others
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid US driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

Qualifications

• Previous experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care approach
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy

Please note that this position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
