Job summary

IF! Inc in Stillwater, MN is seeking an energetic DSP to support 3 outgoing young men at home and in the community. You will assist with daily living, provide companionship, and help them participate in fun activities. A compassionate, reliable caregiver is essential to promote safety and well-being.

The role offers part-time evening hours, a biweekly pay schedule, and a $20/hour rate with in-person work. Prior DSP experience is valued; Driver's license and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
Valid US driver's license required.
Basic computer skills and ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medication and monitor vital signs under nurse supervision.
Follow individualized care plans and ensure resident rights are respected.
Aid with meal preparation and feeding; maintain a clean, safe living environment.
Provide companionship and engage residents in recreational activities.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an energetic & outgoing DSP who is compassionate and would provide exceptional care and ensure the safety and well-being of 3 outgoing young men in their home and community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the life of these young men and also, be a positive influence getting them out in the community and doing fun activites!

Duties

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Assist with meal preparation and feeding

Minimum Qualifications

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Compassion and a desire to help others
18 years of age or older
Ability to pass a background check
Valid US driver's license
Basic computer skills
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

Qualifications

Previous experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care approach.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
2-3 years of DSP experience required
